“Radio.Me”: Educación Física a través del teatro físico para la promoción de la salud mental adolescente

Resumen

El presente estudio aborda la importancia de conectar cuerpo y mente para mejorar la salud mental en adolescentes desde la Educación Física. El objetivo principal es presentar y analizar el impacto de la experiencia didáctica “Radio.Me”, basada en una intervención que utiliza el teatro físico y la escritura somática para promover el bienestar emocional y la creatividad corporal en estudiantes de secundaria. El estudio emplea una metodología artística y cualitativa, integrando técnicas de expresión corporal, dramatización y danza, evaluadas mediante observación participante, diarios reflexivos y entrevistas. El proyecto se desarrolló a través de la Red Planea, de Arte y Escuela, en el Instituto Bovalar de Castellón, involucrando a 6 docentes y 50 estudiantes entre 15 y 18 años. Los resultados destacan que la intervención ayudó a los adolescentes a expresar y gestionar emociones complejas, promoviendo la autorreflexión y el autoconocimiento. Además, la actividad fomentó la empatía y mejoró la convivencia entre estudiantes y docentes. El artículo concluye que la integración de prácticas artísticas en la educación física puede ser una herramienta eficaz para enfrentar los desafíos de salud mental en la adolescencia, al ofrecer un espacio donde cuerpo y mente se exploran de manera conjunta, facilitando el bienestar emocional y físico.

Nicoletta Cappello , Università di Catania / Universitat de Girona / Doctorado en Arte y Educación

Nicoletta Cappello (she/her) is a performer, dramaturg, director, and art-pedagogue, and currently a Doctoral Researcher in cotutelle between the University of Catania and the University of Girona now visiting the Artistic Doctorate in Performing Arts at the University of the Arts Helsinki. She has taught Acting in Physical Theatre at the Royal School of Dramatic Arts in Madrid. She has designed and led art education in collaboration with PLANEA-Art and School Network, lectured at the European Cultural Centre for Performance Art, and gave masterclasses at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, University of Bologna, and Universidad Complutense of Madrid, among others. She is the artistic director of “El público,” a performance and education company focusing on participatory, interactive, and immersive practices. Her shows have been awarded different prizes for contemporary creation, such as a Carlota Soldevila Award from Teatre Lliure Barcelona and Premi Born Menorca, among others. She has presented her pieces in venues like Teatro de La Abadía, Matadero Madrid, and Fabra i Coats Barcelona.

 

David Rodriguez , Co-director de la Dance& Creative Wellness Foundation

David Rodriguez holds a Master's in Cultural Management from the Open University of Catalonia. His research interests span arts and education, cultural diplomacy, and, more recently, dance interventions in healthcare. A strong advocate for the role of culture and the arts in promoting sustainable development, he frequently shares his expertise at university symposiums and in discussions within the health sector. He is the co-director of the Dance & Creative Wellness Foundation, a European initiative that fosters knowledge transfer in innovative artistic dance practices for wellbeing. As both a scholar and practitioner, he leads cultural and educational projects with institutions such as the Oncolliga Foundation and the Swiss Cancer League. He serves as a Chief Communications Advisor for the Lausanne government in Switzerland

Clara Boj, artista, investigadora cultural y docente en la Universitat Politècnica de València. Desarrolla su trabajo en la confluencia de saberes y prácticas tanto de la creación artística como de la educación y la gestión cultural. En el ámbito artístico trabaja desde el año 2000 junto al artista Diego Díaz, con quien ha desarrollado una extensa producción que explora las relaciones entre arte y tecnología. Impulsa, junto al Consorci de Museus de la Comunitat Valenciana, el máster PERMEA,  programa experimental en mediación y educación a través del arte que comenzó su andadura en 2018 y que participa como nodo mediador en PLANEA. Dolores Cañabate Ortiz. PhD in Education and Psychology from the University of Girona. Director of the Movement and Languages ​​Chair. Principal researcher of the Research Group on Education, Heritage and Intermedia Arts (GREPAI). Coordinator of the Teaching Innovation Network on Cooperative Learning of the University of Girona and the National Network on Cooperative Learning. Degree in Physical Education. Adjunct professor Postgraduate in Values ​​Education. Professor of the Department of Specific Didactics of the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the University of Girona. He researches teaching and learning processes in physical education, psychomotricity, dance, teacher training, teaching and sustainable methodologies, and cooperative and reflective learning.
