El artículo es un reseña sobre el recientemente publicado libro de Stephen Smith, La huida hacia Europa (Arpa, 2019), en el que analiza la demografía africana y europea, poniendo el foco en la potencial emigración y “africanización” del continente europeo por parte de ciudadanos del África subsahariana. Como aporte original intento hacer una crítica a cierta tesis general del libro. Asimismo, creo que es un tema que está en agenda, de relevancia política y de importancia en cuanto a la lucha por los sentidos a la hora de hablar de la problemática de la migración.
