The environment: Policy for sectors and instruments within the European Union

Abstract

The paper analyses that series of environmental measures within the E.E.C. that go to make up the existing frame of reference within which such questions are to be approached as to the process of European integration, this being here taken as the most outstanding example of more than national initiative in this field. The paper considers financial instruments for regional development and community agricultural policy and, to a lesser degree, those developed to protect Nature. Along with these financial measures, others aimed at the defence of the member nation 's common natural inheritance as a whole are also discussed.

With the aim of promoting the dissemination of knowledge, CyTET joins the Open Journal Access (OA) movement and delivers all of its content to various national and international indexes, repositories and databases under this protocol; therefore, the submission of a work to be published in the journal presupposes the explicit acceptance by the author of this distribution method.

Authors are encouraged to reproduce and host their work published in CyTET in institutional repositories, web pages, etc. with the intention of contributing to the improvement of the transfer of knowledge and the citation of said works.
