Educational model and economy with artificial intelligence in the “age of singularity”
Main Article Content
Abstract
INTRODUCTION. In the context of Western educational models and their link with the modes of production, the technological challenge of artificial intelligence is observed, as well as its impact on the mode of production and the new socioeconomic model of sustainable human development for the age of singularity. The study is guided by a Pragmatist Progressive Education (John Dewey) and proposes a Learning Model Based on digitized projects. The general objective is to demonstrate that the modes of production must have educational support in their socioeconomic model; and the specific one is to identify which the subjects and capacities that will be part of the new curriculum in the age of singularity in relation to the variation in the mode of production. METHOD. With a qualitative approach, the variables educational model and mode of production are analyzed. The in-depth interview guide is used, through convenience sampling, with ten former senior public officials in the education sector as a panel of experts, over fifty years of age, without gender distinction, with knowledge in the development of educational curricula in the last fifteen years. The procedure consists of data reduction, data transformation and obtaining results with triangulation. RESULTS. The results show awareness regarding the change of framework and curriculum, to guarantee Sustainable Human Development, defining the capabilities that will be enhanced in students based on their talents (multiple intelligences) and the projects in which they participate and/or develop. DISCUSSION. Educational content strategies are discussed so that society can successfully incorporate into the Postmodern mode of production of the age of singularity to achieve Sustainable Human Development, concluding which capabilities are sought to be enhanced in students based on curricula more tailored to their potential and the projects to be developed.
