Análisis de las autopercepciones conductuales de liderazgo y cambios en el cargo en entrenadores de baloncesto de la Liga (ACB) (Analysis of the self-perceptions of leadership behavior and changes in the position in basketball coaches of the League (ACB))

El objetivo de la presente investigación fue analizar, en una de las mejores ligas del Baloncesto Europeo (Liga Española, ACB), los posibles cambios en la autopercepción de la conducta del entrenador a lo largo del período competitivo en función de la variable expectativas de clasificación por parte del entrenador. Sé utilizo el cuestionario Leadership Scale for Sport (LSS3). La muestra fue de nueve entrenadores. Se concluye que los entrenadores que cumplen con sus expectativas muestran una diferencia significativa en la autopercepción de la conducta de feedback positivo (3.7 ± 0.5 / 4.1 ± 0.4). En el resto de conductas no se observan diferencias significativas al igual que sucede cuando de analizan las conductas sin tener en cuenta la variable expectativas. Paralelamente se manifiesta una gran inestabilidad del cargo de entrenador al mismo tiempo que se constata que el cambio de entrenador no asegura una mejora de los resultados.

Abstract. The aim of this research was to analyse, in one of the best European basketball leagues (the Spanish League, ACB), the possible changes in the self-perception of the coaching behaviours throughout the competition period depending on the variable classification expectations of the coach. The Leadership Scale for Sport (LSS3) questionnaire was used. The sample was composed of nine coaches. It is concluded that coaches who meet their expectations showed a significant difference in the self-perception of positive feedback behaviour (3.7 ± 0.5 / 4.1 ± 0.4). In the rest of the behaviours, no significant differences were found, nor when behaviours were analysed without taking into account the expectations variable. At the same time, there was great instability in the position of the coach, and it was also verified that the change of coach does not ensure an improvement in results.
