Resumen

La Revised Perceived Locus of Causality in Physical Education Scale (PLOC-R) es una escala propuesta a la luz de la Teoría de la Autodeterminación para analizar las regulaciones motivacionales de los estudiantes en las clases de educación física de educación básica. Objetivo: traducir y adaptar transculturalmente, hacer disponible formato online, identificar y comparar propiedades psicométricas de los formatos impreso y online, y verificar la capacidad de concordancia entre los datos recopilados por ambos formatos de la PLOC-R. Métodos: La versión original fue traducida y adaptada de acuerdo con las recomendaciones internacionales. El formato online de la escala se creó mediante un programa web y se alojó en un website específico. Para identificar propiedades psicométricas y la capacidad de concordancia entre los datos recolectados por ambos formatos se seleccionó una muestra de estudiantes con edades entre 12 y 18 años, de ambos sexos, de escuelas públicas y privadas de la ciudad de Londrina, Paraná. Resultados: Después de ligeras modificaciones observadas en el proceso de traducción, un comité de expertos consideró que la versión traducida de la PLOC-R presentaba equivalencias semánticas, idiomáticas, culturales y conceptuales. La validez de constructo se confirmó a través de cinco subescalas propuestas originalmente. El modelo teórico encontrado cumplió con los criterios propuestos para ambos formatos. Las cargas factoriales oscilaron entre 0,71 y 0,86 y el alfa de Cronbach entre 0,71 y 0,87. La replicación de la PLOC-R formateada en modelos impresos y online mostró una alta concordancia (Kappa ≥ 0,70 e ICC ≥ 0,76). Conclusión: La PLOC-R traducida y adaptada en el estudio actual para su uso en formato impreso y online logró un rendimiento psicométrico similar. Además, con base en los grados de concordancia observados, se concluye que, en general, los datos recolectados a través de formatos impresos y online son comparables, lo que viabiliza sus aplicaciones en futuros estudios en Brasil.
