La Educación Social en el marco de la construcción del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior

El objetivo fundamental del artículo es el de reflexionar sobre la problemática de la convergencia universitaria europea, y dentro de la misma, analizar las posibilidades de construir el Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior por parte de la Educación Social. En este sentido, además de las dificultades académicas y profesionales de la educación social, las diferencias entre los diversos países de la Unión Europea, la diversidad de universidades, hay que tener en cuenta las dificultades existentes en la institucionalización de una política social común en el marco europeo. A todo ello, hay que añadirle la problemática que supone la creciente competencia entre las universidades en el marco de la sociedad del conocimiento, en el marco de una sociedad del aprendizaje.

The fundamental object of this article is to reflect on the problem of European university convergence and within this, analyse the possibilities of building the European space of higher education through social education. Therefore, in addition to the academic and professional difficulties of social education, the differences between the countries of the EU and the diversity of universities, one must also take into consideration the existing difficulties in the institutionalization of a common social policy within a European framework. Furthermore, there is also the added problem of the increasing competition between universities in the sphere of both the knowledge society and the learning society.
