The validity of sexual consent and its relation to the dignity of the individual

Abstract

The text highlights the importance of women’s consent in relation to the dignity and free exercise of their fundamental rights and its projection in various areas where women’s bodies are involved, such as prostitution. Prostitution in the Spanish constitutional legal system lacks a regulation of abolitionism that takes into account the possibility of reintegration of women who have suffered and continue to suffer the commercialization of their bodies. It is from trafficking that this problem is situated due to its link with this commercial traffic. The need to outlaw all exploitation of women’s bodies arises from dignity as a constitutional principle recognized in article10 of the Spanish Constitution.
