Abstract

This paper sets out the guidelines followed to foster public participation in the European
Landscape Convention and the Landscape Character Assessment (LCA) methodology. A section is
devoted to explaining the use of LCA, including its methodological approaches and its application
to a specific case: the landscape of the Las Villuercas massif.
