This is a review of the critical edition of the Catalan translation of the book by Jacobus de Cessulis Liber de moribus hominum et de oficcis nobilium, sive super ludum schachorum, known as Ludus scachorum. The author edits the text of version A, of the two in Catalan, dated at the end of the 14th century, and conducts a study of the work.
