Abstract

The purpose of this essay is to analyzeduring the first decade of the 21st century, theconduct of the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Tribunal of Justice of Venezuela, which as an instrument of the authoritarian government that since 1999 has assaulted all the Branches of government in the country, instead of guarantying the rule of law hasserved in order to justify and legitimize constitutional violations committed by Stateorgans, andat the request of the Executive, in order to make illegitimate mutations of the Constitution.
