Abstract

The insurrection of October 1934 and the Civil War have hidden the importance of the last of the three rebellions which anarchists organized against various Republican administrations that of December 1933. This article focuses on this episode, which was the most violent insurrection of the first third of the twentieth century to date and its effects in the different Spanish provinces.
