Aspects to Consider in Contemporary Housing in Spain: Habits, Furniture, Rooms, Crossings and Repairs
DOI:

Habits, Furniture, Rooms, Crossings and RepairsAbstract
The article explores five issues related to the house and the city, directly or indirectly linked to contemporary ways of living in Spain: the impact of urban tourism, changes in household composition, the influence of new furniture, the progressive disappearance of the hallway in favor of layouts based on the idea of equal rooms, more ambiguous and without hierarchies of use, and the incorporation of “repair” as a necessary future quality of housing and larger entities such as existing industrial estates.
