The contemporary housing crisis reveals deep social, spatial, and temporal fractures. It is not merely about shortage, but about a system that pushes middle-class families, young people, single mothers, and precarious workers to disconnected peripheries lacking services and opportunities. This urban segregation creates a temporal injustice: the farther one lives, the more time is lost commuting, reducing quality of life. In response, the 15-minute city model, a polycentric and multi-service city, offers a structural alternative based on proximity, social diversity, and territorial justice. Building housing is not enough: it is essential to ensure conditions for dignified living, territorial rootedness, access to essential services, and the exercise of urban rights. Urban planning must refocus on everyday quality of life, equitable access to time, and the right to the city for all.
