Skull fractures are primary lesions of the skull. Posterior fossa fractures are rare, it is considered that the multiple layers of muscle makes it less easy to fracture.We report the case of a male of 72 years who presented head injury during assault.A literature search revealed only two case report of closed depressed fracture of the posterior fossa.
