Cancionero General.
Abstract: This paper tries to analyze the formation of the Cancionero de obras de burlas provocantes a risa (Valenciae, 1519) from its clear precedents, which are the “apartados de burlas” of the first two editions of the Cancionero General of Hernando de Castillo (1511 and 1514). However, the tradition of the cancioneril poetry also requires searching its origins in cancioneros manuscripts that have survived. Finally, I’ll try to analyze the trace left by the above cancionero in latest ones, printed and manuscript, and in the rich production of “pliegos sueltos”.
Keywords: Cancionero de obras de burlas. Erotic Poetry. Cancioneril Poetry. Cancionero General.
