The aim of his paper is to analyse the selection of the Seneca the Elder’s Controuersiae offered by three manuscripts preserved in the in spanish libraries (EscIorial Q.I.14, Tortosa, Cathedral 80, and Salamanca, University Library 2306), in order to establish its relationship with the textual tradition of Controuersiae and find the reasons that caused the election of specific passages.
