The morphological role of the ancient diphthongs * -ōi and * -oi in the nominal thematic flexion of Latin

The author of this paper tries, in front of the traditionally admitted and taught theories, to present another possibility in his opinion ore likely and comprehensive of explaining the results of the final diphthongs *-ōi and *-oi inside the mark of the Latin thematic nominal inflection. The data of the nearest languages to Latin, as well as the own data that the Latin language offers us, they invite us to reconsider the question and to propose new interpretations for the morphological development of the cases singular dative, singular locative, plural dative-ablative and plural nominative (non-neuters).
