Linguistic Features in Hygin’s Fabulae

This paper studies the language and the lexicon in Hygin’s Fabulae, specially attending to the morphologic and syntactic particularities of the text.We also analyse the originality of his vocabulary. Hygin appears as inventor of many words, most of them derivated from the greek lexicon.Downloads
