On Atticism and Caesar’s Commentarii. A Study of Prose Rhythm.

Many scholars have taken it for granted that Caesar applied prose rhythm to his speeches. This question has sometimes become a major point in the discussions on Atticism. The main goal of this paper is to detect by means of statistical methods whether some vestiges of this oratorical practice remain in his Commentaries.
