The specific characteristics of the rocks present in the southern slope of Sierra Nevada determine the great compositional and quality variability of groundwater. This study carries out a hydrochemical and isotopic analysis of groundwater and surface water in the Lanjarón area. The study has analyzed 20 samples collected in October 2021 in order to distinguish different types of water according to their hydrochemical facies, find out if they share a common origin and establish at what height the recharge occurs.
