River, fractured aquifer, gauging, groundwater, acequias de careoAbstract
Acequias de careo have conditioned and modified the management of the water cycle in Alpujarra area since Al-Andalus times. This work focuses on studying the two main rivers of the Lanjarón basin to understand and quantify the exchange processes between the rivers and the aquifer. That is why a gauging campaign was carried out on Lanjarón and Salado river for several days in October, as well as a sampling of surface waters was also developed in order to elaborate electrical conductivity profiles throughout the months of August to November.
