Abstract

For the authors, any study of the documents having to do with the work of Cerda gives rise to speculations that encourage the investigator to adventure theories as the that man's own. Such a speculation is here that arising from a study of the passage of Cerda's Urban Web Theory and Reform Scheme for that of Madrid from office to ministry to court in his attempt to claim as his intellectual property this ground breaking project which he wanted to be the official basis for any legislation as to the reforming and planned growth of Spanish cities.
