Abstract

After putting in question the method at present used in Spain to Classify ground use, the authors propose a new way of looking at the relation as between building and non-building ground which could determine, control and regulate such shifts as might occur in either sort of use. The method proposed is one of measuring and mapping out of dwelling upon non-building ground, seeing this phenomenon as amongst one of the most salient invasions of that rustic by that urban. The model is built up upon a linear regressive model founded upon a geographically computerized information system, said system having been used by the Balearic Autonomous Regional Community then drawing up its Guidelines for Territorial Organizing.
