EMPLOYMENT, TRAINING AND INTEGRATION OF MINORITY GROUPS AT RISK OF EXCLUSION. A SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC TARGET FOR EMPLOYING COMPANIES
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article examines the conditions under which groups at risk of social exclusion are able to access employment. To that end, data was gathered through a local employment research centre that served as the methodological reference point for the study. The process involved an evaluation of the local business environment with a view to obtaining data on the principal constraints, assumptions and needs of employees. Further variables were also obtained, linked to the social insertion of the groups that are most vulnerable to exclusion, which we considered to be priorities when accessing the job market. The paper concludes with a presentation of the main findings, and proposes interventions that might shed light on present-day and future demands and needs.
