Editorial Team's Functions
The Editorial Team of the RPM consists of the management team (including directors, deputy directors, and secretaries), secretarial assistants, the Editorial Board, and the International Scientific Committee.
Management Team
Directors serve as the highest institutional authority of the journal, presiding over the Editorial Board and holding the responsibility for appointing or dismissing secretaries, assistants, and members of both the Editorial Board and the International Scientific Committee. They oversee the delegation of responsibilities within the various committees and ultimately have the authority to approve or reject manuscript submissions.
Secretaries are selected based on their experience, commitment, and expertise. Their primary duties include planning editorial content, providing authors with guidelines on style and context, ensuring the accuracy of information on the journal’s website, and overseeing adherence to the review process and communication with authors in accordance with established regulations.
Additionally, Secretaries are responsible for identifying, managing, and maintaining indexing databases and relevant distribution lists for the journal. It also issues formal certificates verifying the accuracy of documented information.
Secretarial Assistants
Secretarial assistants are responsible for updating the journal’s website and proofreading incoming manuscripts to ensure consistency and accuracy across all contributions.
Editorial Board
Members of the Editorial Board are appointed—and, if necessary, dismissed—by the editors of the journal. Their primary role is to collaborate with the management team in defining the journal’s content and style, establishing submission guidelines, and overseeing the journal’s design. They also supervise the reception, evaluation, and acceptance of manuscripts.
International Scientific Committee
The International Scientific Committee advises the Management Team in ensuring high-quality and relevant publications. It comprises a group of PhD-holding researchers with recognized international prestige in their respective fields. In collaboration with the editors, the committee develops the journal’s scientific strategy and conducts periodic evaluations of its outcomes. Furthermore, it provides conceptual and scientific support to the Editorial Board and may serve as a high-level evaluator. It also plays a crucial role in the journal’s international dissemination.
