Resumen: Los hechos de armas constituyen el contenido temático esencial de la materia caballeresca en sus diferentes especies genéricas, junto con las maravillas, los viajes y el amor cortés. El trabajo analiza el espacio de la proeza a través de los motivos narrativos de las justas y los torneos en las traducciones artúricas hispánicas, su estructura y variación, la relación con el sistema de valores subyacente y su papel como motores del relato. Las justas y torneos permiten una gradación de la caballería artúrica al reflejar la valía individual a partir de conceptos como la lealtad, la cortesía y la gracia divina, con consecuencias significativas en la estructura narrativa.

Abstract: Feats of arms constitute the main theme content on Chivalry, in its different generic species, together with wonders, trips and Courtly Love. In this article, it is analysed the space of heroic deed through the narrative motifs of Jousting and Tournament present in Hispanic Arthurian translations, its structure and variation, the relation with the underlying value system and its role as narrative engines. Jousting and Tournaments allow a gradation of Arthurian Chivalry by means of reflecting individual worth based on concepts like Loyalty, Courtesy and Divine Grace with significant consequences on the narrative structure.
