Vol. 34 No. 4 (2025): Special issue on transformative economies, a miscellaneous article, and book reviews
The issue 34(4) of the Spanish Journal of Sociology features a collection of manuscripts on alternative economic initiatives. This compilation includes: a) an introduction to the notion of transformative economies; b) a study of an inclusive recycling model in Argentina, which has become an international benchmark for public-community experiences; c) a research into the conflicts between tradition and technology that are redefining the relationship between farmers and consumers; d) an ethnography of a cooperative network competing with large delivery platforms; and e) an analysis of three community initiatives that are reinventing the way we provide care. Additionally, the issue includes an article on attitudes toward gender equality among public administration employees. The issue is completed by two book reviews.
