From the mention by S. Freud and others sexologists and psychoanalysts of the following proverb Omne animal post coitum triste this saying has had a huge spread although it is unknown its spread. So, at this work we are proceeding to carry out a systematics search of sources of this proverb, whose ideological backgrounds are in Aristotle, doesn’t acquire existence till the Literature of problems and matters of the Middle ages within the limits of the Medieval Universities, with the immediate precedent of Constantine the African’s works, who was a translator of basic medical texts in the field of the medicine.
