Gathering concepts from the latest Reader-response Criticism, attended specially to «implied reader», is so as to throw new light on topics structuring to humanistic prefaces, but also it could explain an existimation of commentary as discoursive practice. This paper works on interpretive material from Silvae Morales, an anthology of classical, medieval, and humanistic poetry with commentary by the famous printer and scholar Jodocus Badius Ascensius.Downloads
