The ms. 3171 of the Biblioteca de Catalunya, datable to the 14th century, contains on its final folios a collection of sixteen exempla or short tales o f a miraculous and exemplary nature. The interest of this short compilation r esides in its originality and in the unpublished character of some of the stories that it transmits.
