This paper presents a collation of the text of the Formulae illustriores ad praecipua genera epistolarum conscribenda by Petrus Ioannes Nunnesius, a Spanish humanist (n.1525-1602), as it appears in mss 152 and 9227 of the National Library (Madrid, Spain) and MS 349 of the Corpus Christi’s Library (Valencia, Spain). A study is also carried out into the linguistic features of the Spanish used in the translation of the examples.
