Abstract

In this interview, Frédéric Duhart, lecturer and researcher at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Victor Babes, and member of the consolidated research group VITISUNED, takes a reflective look at his research work, explaining in depth the different themes and stages he has gone through. This prominent French researcher also shares a series of considerations on the differentiated European agri-food model, as well as the main quality marks of origin that comprise it (Protected Designations of Origin and Protected Geographical Indications), and the ways in which they are produced and reproduced in an international context. In this interview, special attention is paid to his reflections on the Latin American contextual reality, with an emphasis on the agri-food realities of Mexico, where he has carried out much of his work.
