Trabajadores búlgaros en Madrid: situación legal y actuación en el mercado de trabajo

Este artículo examina la actuación de los inmigrantes búlgaros indocumentados y de los legalizados en el mercado laboral de Madrid, su propensión a integrarse en la sociedad receptora y sus intenciones de volver a Bulgaria. La actuación del inmigrante se define a partir de su logro laboral, concretamente de su primer trabajo, y de la ocupación actual en el país anfitrión; de la competencia en el empleo con los trabajadores autóctonos y de las pautas de ahorro/envío de fondos. El estudio se basa en una encuesta llevada a cabo en 2003/2004 a 202 inmigrantes búlgaros que viven en la comunidad de Madrid.
