Abstract

The reading of some recent work suggests a number of considerations from the perspective of constitutional law. It is curious that in the search for effective social rights, the corroboration of the state system in making these rights possible is not defended. The mere mention of the financial nature of all rights, especially of those studied here, is enough to highlight the need to change the paradigm. From the perspective of social rights, an adequate theoretical construct that highlights its personal character could contribute both to overcoming the present uncertainty and to linking these rights to the principle of responsibility. This principle, without having been studied, should occupy an important place in proposals to overcome the present economic crisis, which is also a crisis of values.
