Directrices para autores/as

The journal adheres to and exhaustive peer review process. The journal does not have APC, i.e., there is no cost associated to the reviewing and publication of papers.

To collaborate with the journal, authors should follow all the indications given below.

All papers submitted to the journal must be original, unpublished, and not undergoing any review process for publication elsewhere. On submitting their papers, authors accept this condition and any legal and ethical obligations that may derive from it.

1. Maximum number of authors per paper is four.

2. The author must register on the journal website and provide the information that the registration form asks for. Go to IDENTIFICACIÓN (if you are a registered user) or to REGISTRO (if you are not registered).

3. In the final version of article the names of all the authors MUST be provided (one by one) and in the same order in which they appear in the paper, since this will be the order in which they appear if accepted for publication. One of the authors should figure as "Contacto principal para correspondencia editorial" (Main corresponding author). To ensure blind peer review, the names must not appear in the version for review.

4. If deemed opportune, authors may put forward the names of two reviewers for their article. This should be done in “Step 1” (Paso 1) of the submission in the section “Comments for the editor” (Comentarios para el editor), where the authors should provide the full name  of the reviewer(s), their professional category, complete professional membership and email. This proposal does not imply any obligation on the part of the Editorial Committee to select the reviewers proposed.

5. When sending the originals please download the DOCUMENTO DE ESTILO from the journal website. Originals not sent via this document will not be accepted.

6. Papers should be between 6000 and 8000 words in length, including the title, abstract and references.

10. The format of the document should be Word compatible, in any of its versions.

11. Papers received are submitted to a PRE-evaluation on formal aspects and if they pass this stage they will be undergo peer review. The reviewers will decide whether or not to accept the paper for publication. In the case of important discrepancies between the two reviewers the paper will be sent to a third reviewer. A list of reviewers will be published annually.

12. The internal editorial process will remove all author identification data. Two reviewers will then be selected on the basis of their familiarity with the subject matter. The pre-review and the peer review processes are totally independent and transparent.

13. Authors will receive acknowledgement of receipt of their paper within four weeks maximum of its arrival. They will be informed of its acceptance, modification or rejection within 12 weeks.
