We present a research project focused on learning at university in order to establish relationships with the ways of knowing and knowing from the Visual Arts based on the trajectories of undergraduate students. We begin with an onto-epistemological framework in which to situate the frame of reference and approach the research problem from which to rethink what it means to learn at university. The material collected in the meetings (trajectories, maps, diary, recordings, images, discussion groups, questionnaire) has been crossed with the reports and reflections have been elaborated on different themes: conceptions of learning, strategies, technologies and learning contexts. The text ends with a discussion focused on the possibilities that this learning opens up for the Visual Arts; contemporary art practices offer new forms of knowledge, while also shaping ways of learning. The article concludes with a reflection on the need for a greater presence of Visual Arts in teacher training.
