Abstract

The article denounces the worrying breakdowns in the system generated by deficient legislation coming out of the Spanish Parliament. It analyzes examples of laws that multiply legal insecurity, contradict the constitutional doctrine and create more problems and conflicts than the existing ones they were meant to tackle. Only too often, the wording turns out to be vague or vacuous and so the legislation has to be continuously amended. The author draws attention to the laws that try to annul the power of public Administrations to enforce legality, as well as those that entail fraudulent non-enforcement of firm judgments.
