This article examines the implementation of strikes in Galicia from 1966 to 1975. From the empirical evidence provided by interviews with leaders of the trade union movement, written documentation from the galician CCOO, the OSE (Labour Union), the Ministry of Labour and the Interior Ministry, and statistical analysis, we explain the activation of the strike movement through the threshold mechanism of collective bahaviour.Downloads
