The research aims to reveal how confinement was experienced in the neighbourhoods of Barcelona that we point out as fragile from a residential and health point of view. How housing conditions influenced and marked daily life during the first wave, first locked up and then progressively leaving. Certain experiences determined, among many other things, by the housing characteristics, depending on the surface area, access to the outside or sunlight, confinement could become a more or less acceptable or very problematic situation. With this objective, we consider the analysis of Barcelona housing areas most affected by the first wave of COVID-19 and that had to face it in a home in worse conditions.
