HOW CAN WE LEARN TO IMPROVE OUR TEACHING PRACTICES? UNIVERSITY STUDENT DIARIES: TRAINING TOOL FOR TEACHING STAFF

Main Article Content

Itziar Rekalde Rodríguez

Abstract

For the last five academic years, we have been using student diaries to compile their opinions, queries, questions on the subject and on their experience and feelings generated around this issue and class dynamics. We believe that a diary is an interesting tool to assess students’ teaching-learning process and a useful document to reflect their feelings, experience and concerns regarding the subject, its methodology and the dynamics generated in class. Reading, analysing and later considering the teaching-related contents helps us to be able to make changes to the content, materials and dynamics applied in the university classroom.
