En la presente sección monográfica se abordan algunas cuestiones singulares de la realidad social del trabajo en España. Están relacionadas con la subjetividad e identidad de los trabajadores, con las instituciones laborales; más concretamente, con la composición y constitución de sujetos colectivos en el mundo del trabajo; con el papel del empleo en la identidad; o con los constructos sociales que regulan y median las relaciones entre empresario y trabajador.
