Reconsiderando la teoría de las elecciones de segundo orden. ¿Cómo clasificar a las elecciones municipales españolas de 2019?

Resumen

Este trabajo amplía los análisis de las elecciones municipales en España. Analiza la validez del modelo interpretativo de las elecciones de segundo orden aplicado a los resultados de las elecciones de 2019. Profundiza, en primer lugar en la transformación del modelo planteado por Reif y Schmitt (1980) y evalúa la capacidad explicativa de un modelo reñido con unidades de análisis muy fragmentadas y heterogéneas. Finalmente, propone un análisis de carácter contextual que proporciona una más sólida explicación de los resultados de las elecciones municipales de 2019 en España.
