Structure of the front of the Cazorla-Alcaraz arc in the Vianos sector (External Prebetic, SE Spain)

The present work analyzes the relationships between sedimentation and structuring of the Cazorla-Alcaraz Arc (External Prebetic) during the late Miocene in the Vianos salient (Albacete, Spain). The creation of the local depocenter in the foreland basin that occurs by the last arc advance is described. The foredeep was delimited by a fault-bend fold that had paleogeography expression and was filled in marine conditions, in a transgressive context, possibly during the end of the Tortonian. It is therefore one of the points with the youngest marine Miocene deposits in the northern sector of the External Prebetic.
