Abstract

In a transversal perspective, the author of the book introduces us to an unexplored terrain, neither in terms of content nor conceptually, that of Foucault's relationship with the state. To this end, the book has a supplementary contribution in the Spanish edition, consisting of an interview conducted by the editors with the author of the text. This completes the viability, not only apparent, but also truthful and complementary, of what, for Foucault, the state is. The result is of such argumentative intensity that, despite the number of pages that make it up, it becomes not only a penetrating but also a pleasurable read to begin to perceive Foucault as an author who goes beyond the micro-powers.
