Encrucijadas: more than a decade of intersections and encounters in spanish social sciences

Abstract

Since its beginnings, Encrucijadas has built an identity different from the usual scientific or cultural publications. Its project and its practice have always sought to propose a crossroads, a willingness to confront the dilemmas of the present society at the confluence of possibilities for action and subjects for reflection. It is a reflexive project for thinking about the social from an independent civic commitment that has served as a bridge between academic and civic groups. It has brought together several generations of social scientists, with a philosophy of generating a common good to discover new voices in the field of social thought.
