In this dialogue, Oscar García and Jose Manuel Betanzos, responds to some of the concerns that, from professional practice, lead them to reflect on alternative proposals to the neoliberal local growth and development model, such as cooperativism and citizen participation, experiences more extended and recognizable; but also on more innovative experiences of social innovation, such as the social and solidarity economy and ethical banking, making visible bottom-up alternatives to the "official" local development strategies.
