Abstract

Social and individual transformations must be considered as substantially bodily. Redefinitions in gender relations are not an exception. Sexuality, as a social practice, can play an active role in this. It is assumed in this text that the body acts as the materiality of the subject's agency, and that in the body takes place encounters between gender orders’ parameters and the subject's creativity. To give an account of all this, I have interviewed women who used to live in the category of heterosexuals but who, in a more advanced stage of their lives, have begun to have sexual encounters with other women. It is exemplified those, from the interviews, which we can extract an experience of repositioning from what It has been understood as transfeminist approaches of body, identity and pleasure.
