Abstract

The result of a collective research work developed at the Gino Germani Research Institute of the University of Buenos Aires, the book Militancias juveniles en la Argentina democrática. Trajectories, spaces and figures of activism -compiled by Vázquez, Vommaro, Núñez and Blanco- presents a series of articles that deal, from different perspectives, methodologies and themes, with the forms and transformations of youth militancies in Argentina, in two periods of revitalization of youth political participation: the early eighties of the democratic recovery and the last decade. Thus, the work brought together in this work investigates the activism of young people within party organizations, student centers and social movements, and highlights the diversity and complexity of the relationships between youth and politics.
