A conversation with Ricardo Guixà

Abstract

This interview with the photographer Ricardo Guixà is part of the project "DIGART. The digital turn in the arts: ethnographies of artistic practices". This project aims to analyse how the digital turn in artistic training has changed the way professional artists project, construct and imagine. Through this interview we can perceive how the internalisation of habits and practices in the formal educational stage conditions the ways of valuing, justifying and projecting the daily practices of these artists within their disciplinary boundaries, with a special focus on the tools, techniques and skills most applied in their daily lives.
